Poplars 8"x10" oil on panel

A study to see if I could still paint.  After being turned down to show I decided instead of feeling bad I would go paint.  I liked the distance that this scene provided with the dark trees and distant rolling hills.

I love it! It reminds me of the trees outside Gma's house in Huntington!! They remind me of being a kid and of Daddy! Oh, I showed Justin your art and he said, "Wow, it looks just like your dad's!" (and also that Maddie looks exactly like you!)

That's a beauty! It has a wonderfully spontaneous feel to it.

It's obvious that you can still paint and well, too! Poplars are such interesting trees - I love them because they remind me of the landscape of my childhood in South Central Idaho. Why don't you use your full name? You can tell me in person.
